Guest guest
, Sorry to hear that you have IBS. I've had it for about 25 years and it's very painful to say the least. The doctor's only realized what it was a few years ago, but 25 years ago no one knew what it was. I've never been on any pills though. The best way I control it is through what I eat. If I eat healthy then I have no problem unless I worry too much. If I eat greasy junkfood with no fiber for a long period of time, then I will have an attack. What is diverticulosus? I've heard of it, but what are the symptoms? Something has been happening to me lately, that when I first start eating, my esophogus feels like it closes and I have to wait for 5 minutes or so till I can swallow again. It's weird and kind of spooky because I almost feel like I'm about to suffocate. Sorry to hear about all the doctor's visits! Good Luck to you! -Stix

Guest guest
, If you had IBS you would know it because it's extremely painful. The cramping pain is so intense you go from sweating to freezing to sweating, and you turn white and try not to pass out from the pain. It's truly excruciating. You cannot stand up. It lasts for about 4 hours. If you don't experience that, then you probably have diverticulitus. Keep us posted about your results! Eat fiber!....Fruits, Veggies, whole grain breads and cereals. Steer clear, or at least cut WAY down on cheese, nuts, butter, oil, and grease. -Stix
