Hi,

I'm a new member of IE. I find my food triggers to be boredom and

the presence of foods that I love. I'm not hugely overweight, just

about 10 lbs. or so, but all my life I've wished to be 10 lb. thinner,

no matter what my current weight. For a long time, I've thought that

I'd be much better off if I ate only when I was hungry. I hope that

this group will help me find the strength to do jut that.

I exercise fairly regularly and really notice how good I feel when I

leave the gym. It's not my favorite thing to do, but that burst of

optimism and energy when I'm driving out of the parking lot keeps me

coming back.

So, I'm onboard and enjoy reading the helpful comments of you other

members.

Welcome, eisenbfam! I hope you find IE helpful. I like to eat out

of boredom, too.

I AM IN THE SAME SCENARIO AS YOU. I WORKOUT, BUT I GO BACK AND FORTH WITH THE 10 POUND THING. I TAKE A BREAK FROM THE WORKING OUT, LET DIETS BACK IN TO MY LIFE, BINGE, EAT OUT OF CONTROL AND THEN TRY THE WHOLE THING AGAIN AND THEN LEAD MYSELF BACK IN TO THE SAME LOOP GIVE OR TAKE A FEW POUNDS. IT IS VERY TOUGH, BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD BOOKS. GENEEN ROTH HAS A LOT OF GOOD BOOKS OR ANY OF THE BOOKS ON INTUITIVE EATING OR WHY DIETS DONT WORK ARE GOOD. GOOD LUCK AND FEEL FREE TO SHARE. Hi, ! Welcome to the group!

I LOVE Beth 's stuff! She is an amazing teacher! Our Bible

Study group is currently working through her " Breaking Free " study.

It's awesome (and I think it's probably somewhat similar to " Get Out

of That Pit " ). ;o)

I'm really looking forward to February 24th, as I'm going to see a

Beth simulcast! :o)

Great to have you here!
