Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Had my (almost) 31 week ultrasound yesterday. is still growing on schedule and the placenta and amniotic fluid look good. She weighs 3 lbs. 10 oz. which puts her in the 42% percentile based on LMP. Yay! She is also still in the breech position (now it is a " frank breech " , ie. bottom first). Her head is bumping up against my rib cage on the right side. This explains the discomfort and right-side back pain I've been having. But you know what? I don't care about the discomfort and I don't care if she stays breech and we have to have a c-section... It's amazing how my uterine anomaly has changed my perspective. I used to envision and expect the " perfect " natural childbirth experience. Now I realize that the whole point is a healthy baby and healthy mother, and it truly doesn't matter how you get there. I am starting to see a positive side to the difficulties of dealing with my anomaly: I have grown up a little as a result. Hope all is well with all of you.
