Guest guest
I must be boring - but I just nuke 'em in the microwave with a little water. Then I spritz with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. BUT... I only like the French cut green beans. I will not, can not eat the other kind. : ) Reply-To: Serious-Weight-Watchers Date: Fri, 14 Feb 2003 12:34:41 -0600 To: <Serious-Weight-Watchers > Subject: Green beans How are you all preparing green beans (canned) to make them yummy? Guest guest
I just zap them in the microwave. You could try putting a little garlic salt or garlic power in with them then a little bit of butter. If you like garlic that is ;o) Kris Green beans How are you all preparing green beans (canned) to make them yummy? I am a bacon grease girl. Other veggies? Guest guest
Plain, nooo. I love the green beans at Cracker Barrel. But who are we kidding, when the are shiny with bacon fat, they are not 0 points, or even 1 point. :-) Suzie

Guest guest
I make my green beans all the time with the recipe on the following link. They are AWESOME and my family loves them as well. I never thought I could eat green beans without bacon and stuff in them (or in a green bean casserole!) but these are so fantastic I prefer them. http://www.ceda.ca/cedacooks/ogb.htm It calls for fresh green beans but I always used canned, and I used garlic slices from a jar... I just put in a bunch, I never measure it. But I LOVE garlic so I always put in a lot. Beth " & Suzanne " wrote: > How are you all preparing green beans (canned) to make them > yummy? Guest guest
Try them with fat free italian dressing. It adds a nice " tang " . I choose to be in control. 176.4/150.2/125 -- Re: Green beans << How are you all preparing green beans (canned) to make them yummy? >> Add a chicken bullion cube and a little minced onion - you can't tell that they're fat free! -Crys-
