Guest guest
I had another u/s yesterday. Baby looks fine. It seems to me that there's not much room in there, but the doctor was not concerned. My cervix has started to shorten some. Yesterday it was 37mm- previous measurements have been 42-45mm. My peri is not worried as long as it stays > 30mm, but said she would consider cerclage if there is any dramatic change next time I see her (2 weeks). My cervix is firm and closed, though, with no funneling. She told me to stop walking- I can still swim and lift light weights (as long as I'm sitting on a bench- not standing). I am anxious- but not panicked yet. BTW- regarding my confusion about my BU vs UD- my regular OB agrees with my peri that it is more likely to be UD than BU, based on the fact that I have 2 cervical openings (one much smaller than the other)- no vaginal septum though. Anyone have an opinion on this? Hope you are all taking good care of yourselves and your loved ones during this unsettling week.
