Guest guest
Others on this list have been successful, but I've never been successful without the meetings. Some places have WW at Work programs. If you organized such a meeting in your area, you might be eligible for a discount. I'll bet WW would help you recruit, too. Especially if you work someplace with a lot of employees, or near a lot of employees. > I have just joined Weight Watchers again for the third time. Guest guest
Thank you for your words of encouragement. Guest guest
I've done fine at home, but then I'm an all or nothing kind of girl. Once I had the guidelines and the tools (I do the online program) I was fine. The list here and a few others are my " meetings " and are good enough for me. I think it's going to depend upon the person. Re: Need help Others on this list have been successful, but I've never been successful without the meetings. Some places have WW at Work programs. Sucess is dependent on how much I really want it at the time. I've gained weight when attending meetings, and lost considerable amounts on my own - so it comes down to how much you're willing to put into a program, and how serious you are. -Crys- (Lifetimer since August 1995) 178.6 / 139.4 / 140.0 / 125.0 (-39.2) Starting Wt/Current Wt/WW Goal/Personal Goal Please say a prayer for Margie and Lura in their weight loss. Thank you! I'm not crazy; I'm just a little unwell. I know, right now you can't tell. But stay a while and maybe then you'll see a different side of me. I'm not crazy; I'm just a little impaired. I know, right now you don't care. But in a while you're gonna think of me, and how I used to be. Matchbox
Guest guest
How much HC are you on now and when are you taking it? When are the symptoms happening? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
>Hi Valarie, thanks for writing. I hope you're better. Ok..here's what's happening. I've been on HC for 4 weeks now, slowly working my way up. I'm on 7.5- 5-5. I was taking 2.5 at bedtime, but I found that it didn't make much of a difference. When I take the HC I become jittery, pulse rate goes high , feel flushed and warm, dizzy and stressed out. When I first started on HC weeks ago, and was taking 2.5 mg at a time, I felt fine felt better after taking it. Now when I take it I become so jittery and irritated a pin dropping can stress me out. I'm not sleeping at all. When we talked last week you suggested to hold my thyroid for another 2 weeks because I may be having a thyroid dump. My temps are consistent between 97.8-98.2. So I did. I think my thyroid levels are so low right now, my legs are cramping, eyes hurting to th epoint my vision is bad, heart palps, weight gain ect. But I thought Let's start from scratch and adress my adrenals. Why is the HC making me feel this way. I could see if during the afternoon I don't need it it may be stressing my adrenals out? My am reading was 6. I wasn't making any cortisol in the am so taking 7.5mg should help it. Everyone I've talked to says they get really jittery before taking their HC and it calms it. I've found the opposite. I can't totally stay off they thyroid for another few weeks because my hypo symptoms are getting bad. What is going on? I take 7.5 am with breakfast, take 1/4 gr armour after SL. I take 5mg lunch. 1/4 gr armour at 2pm, 5 mg at dinner. Kimmie > How much HC are you on now and when are you taking it? Guest guest
If your AM cortisol wa 6 .. 7.5 is NO WHERE near enough for you. What it sounds liek is happeneing is it is just enough ot lower your ACTh where you are runing out of c cortisol all the time. I would suggest going to 30MG HC. 10-7.5-5 and 2.5 would be where I would start. Start with first thing whne you get up and go NO LONGER than 4 hours before next doses. If you get jittery before then take the next dose sooner. and count the next four hours from there. If you do nto have jitteriness in the evenings save the last 2.5 for bedtime, if you get jittery four hour safter third dose, take it then. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
And to add to that it sound liek your doses are too far apart. Cortisol is only there for maximum 4 hours. When I foirst started taking it I had to dsose every 3.5 hours or I shook so bad I couldn';t work, Once oyur body gets used to haveing co=cortisol agian it will lessen, btu you need to take enough to have enough in your body. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
