Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on the progress that my son, , is making. We

just completed the 8th round this weekend, using the DAN protocol.

is almost 3, and is on 150 mg DMSA / 25 mg ALA every eight

hours. We moved to every weekend after the first 6 rounds, when all

his liver and blood test came back normal. When was diagnosed 6

months ago, he was completly non-verbal, and had just about every

category of the DSM-IV for autism.

After the first 4 rounds, started to shake his head no when you

asked him a question, which was great. He started saying YA about

two weeks later, but not always correctly. Within the last two

weeks, he has started repeating words that you ask him to say. He

still whispers, and doesn't always get all the sounds correct, but he

is talking. He is repeating words and phrases like, shampoo, soap,

Dr. Suess, rumble grumble gurgle, dog, Blue, and about 60 or 70

others. In just the last three weeks! He is now labeling objects on

his own and makes progress every day. He has been in day care for

the last year and a half for two days a week, and they can't believe

the change in in just the last two months. All the people who

work with were told we were going to chelate, and almost all

have become true believers that Autism is caused by mercury.

Waiting on the results of the latest DDI urine test, and I will post

results when I get then.

Bye for now,

Garry Lund
