Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you all know where we stand today. We had our final ultrasound/perinatologist visit yesterday and our final OB visit today. (I'm at 37 1/2 weeks.) Amazingly, somehow managed to put on a whole pound since the last US! She is currently estimated at 5 lbs. 12 oz. She is now in the 21st percentile, still borderline IUGR, but it's an improvement from last time! She also passed the NST and the BPP tests. So - the end result is that she is allowed to live in my uterus for another week and " cook " a little more. The c-section will be next Wednesday as planned. I will be sure to post a birth announcement as soon as either my DH or I can get to my e-mail. I have been taken out of work as of today, and told to rest. So now I'm basically lying on my left side a lot and counting down the days and hours. I'm bored, but I couldn't have handled going to work much more anyway, the rib pain is getting worse every day. Fortunately I seem to be getting used to the pain and am therefore not finding it so upsetting anymore. The important thing is this is what's best for . We made it to full term (37 weeks) as of this past Sunday. We have made it so much farther than we thought we would. It's unbelievable. I am just feeling very thankful today. Take care all, Ula EDD 9/16/01 C-Section scheduled for 9/5/01 Bicornuate Uterus diagnosed at 8 weeks __________________________________________________
