Anita,

I live in Michigan. It WAS all warm and 50 degrees last week and all

of a sudden we got a snow storm! My poor daffodil's that were

starting to poke up through the ground are covered in snow now!

I walked for almost an hour! GO ME! LOL! My face was numb, but I'm

fine. ;)

Thanks Gail! I did bundle up. Good thing I didn't put my boots away

for the season!

Now if I could only build my way up to doing more than just walking.

I'll join Curves someday......

I remember where you live now that you refresh my memory. That out soon. I

hear we are supposed to get a little more snow tomorrow too at least here.

Bummer since its my days off. On the other hand since I do the WATP tapes I

can walk inside and not worry about the snow. I hope your daffodils make a

recovery.

Donna,

The corned beef and cabbage was great, and there's still some left!

I could send it to you overnight express!

What kind of meals do you generally prepare for your dinner?

Thanks Kim!

I am really putting an effort into it! It takes a certain state of

mind and you have to muster the determination. A lot of times if I'm

depressed or hormonally out of balance, I can't stick with it. But I

feel that I'm finally in the right mode to do it now.

Congratulations Stix! 4.5 lbs is great and you are doing an awesome job walking!

Stix Weigh In

Today is a week since I started my new diet.I've lost 4.5 pounds! GO ME!!!!!! LOL!!!!!I've been staying on plan for a whole week except for the rib dinner I had Saturday night at a Rib Restaurant. Our friend's picked the place, and there was nothing else on the menu except ribs! I only ate half of my dinner though, and compensated by not eating other calories. So it was okay. I've been walking for 30 minutes everyday, except today we are in the midst of a blizzard, but I am still going out all bundled up with my boots, hat, and gloves. Who cares about frost bite?! I need to walk! LOL!-Stix171.5/167/135

You are doing wonderfully!! I'm so proud of you. I'm glad you

understand the points system now. It should help you a lot.

Stix,

Sounds like you are doing great! I am so happy for you. Glad you got the WW info and are able to check points now. Fun isn't it? Keep us posted on your progress and any other low point tips you run across. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Gail!

When I wrote that I was down 7-1/2 pounds, and now I'm down 8 pounds.

I am determined to do it this time. I like this WW plan also!
