Guest guest
I'm sorry I missed all the excitement at SRD. I was there but didn't hear the woman shouting from the back of the room. I was behind that heavy, black curtain waiting my turn for the 5 year KOPS awards and the KOLS parade. We couldn't hear anything back there. Good for you, Janet for saying something to her. There has to be one in every crowd, doesn't there?
Guest guest
My Pet Peeve is all the research that is done on things that are obvious. Such as: If you listen to loud music for an extended period of time you can become hard of hearing or even deaf. If you wear flip flops all the time you can develop foot/heal pain. The best one of all... I'm sure you have heard that no one gets enough sleep, right? Well, they determined from this that people that have children get less sleep than before they had children. Duh! Wonder how long these studies took. I think most people could have told them the results without the studies."Glaze, Deanna/Larry" wrote: What are some of your pet peeves? (things that really irritate you) I'm quite sure all my peeves couldn't be listed, especially on a G-rated loop. LOL Guess, one of my favorites (besides other drivers) is (are?) the fools that think riding a bicycle in the Hill Country is a safe place to be. I can't tell you the times I've topped a hill and suddenly run into a pack of bikes in the road. Scares the poop out of me each time. I know they have a right to their right-of-way, but their bike doesn't give them much protection from my truck. Hugs, DeannaEMAIL TEXAS-STYLE!! Guest guest
People who tell the same stories over and over and over and over and over again and even when you tell them...."Oh...you told me this!" they continue to tell you. Ugh! Okay....I'm talking about my roommate Doyle here. It bothers EVERYONE but most people just laugh it off. I walk away! LOL! I can't tune people out but dang I wish I could tune him out. I also hate people who talk on their cell phone while they are driving and people who go barefoot at work! BLAH! I have complained about this and it has stopped but the day that one walked into the breakroom with just stocking feet...that was the last straw. I hate feet and even more now that I work with people who rarely wear shoes!GEORGE -----Original Message-----From: Hamilton & Feeser Sent: Monday, April 26, 2004 12:42 AMTo: TexasTOPS Subject: QOTD #34 What are some of your pet peeves?
