I can't believe they call a size 14 " Plus Size " !!! The -AVERAGE- American woman

is a size 12! (that's what I've read, anyway). How very, very sad the modelling

world/media is! :-(

LOL! I was having the same thought, and I actually think she looks totally average, not plus size... no double chin even! What about a size 22 plus size model? When will that be acceptable? Or is that size just too revolting for the general public to ever be able to embrace as beautiful?

I think women like Camryn Manheim & Queen Latifa are beautiful, especially since their attitude is not a "poor me", but a "so I'm bigger -- so what?!". ;o)

TOTALLY! Queen Latifa, Oprah (she obsesses about it, but that's why I like her... she's "real" about her food and weight issues)... they inspire me...

When I was reading that article I was wondering how many of these

other super-thin models starve themselves. This girl overcame some

serious odds to really find out who she is and then be able to

accept it.
