I thought you might be interested in this

It is quite long but intersting how doctors themselves have had trouble with

obtaining thier own pain medication..

Tell me your opinions please, and if you have had trouble getting pain meds from

your doctor, or if you have ever been accused of being a drug seeker. Just my

own small survey.

Deb, I can't get my doc to increase my dose of my Patch, nor can I get her to

increase the amount of my script on my oral meds. I have had to horde them so

when I need them I have them. I hate doing this, some days I suffer more

because I am afraid if I take them as I need them that I wont have enough when I

need alot.

This makes me so mad. To make people store their meds for when their pain is

unbearable vs. horrible. Both these positions are wrong. I know my doctor

would not allow me to live this way. I am sure you've been told to search for

a new doctor. And, you should! We need respect for our illness and that

include the proper pain medication.
