Guest guest
Lyssa, You are so observant!! It sure is, the official count is now 64 pounds gone forever!! I am so excited. I'm realizing that my goal is not too far off now. I must say that I have decided that most of my weekends this summer will be spent on the beach. No, not in a bikini, but the fact that I'm going to be on the beach is amazing all by itself. Thanks for noticing! Guest guest
Diane- I don't have any personal experience with SU, but I do know that we have a large number (and growing) of ladies who are SU, and have been fixed or are scheduled for resection. And the pg outcomes with a resected uterus are at or close to that of a normal uterus. I know the more experienced ladies will have more info for you. Hang in there! Guest guest
Hi, well when I first started WW I was pumped to give it my all. I knew it would be hard to change my eating habits at first, but what I did was visualize myself thinner. I did not care how much thinner, just a little at a time. When I lost the first 10% it motivated me to really stick to it. What I did was find the kinds of foods that I liked and made a variety of them to keep me from getting bored. I made 3-4 different kinds of soups to freeze for work lunches. Have always loved sweets, so I found different low-cal muffins recipes to make and freeze also for my desserts. Tried different salads and dressings with my meals and for snacks I eat a lot of different fruits. I use Sugar Twin for my sweetener, fat free 1/2 & 1/2 for my coffee, tea. I drank lots of water till I thought I would bust, but it worked. When I would feel hungry I either reached for my water or a piece of fruit till the craving went away. Depending on what you can afford to spend for food, I used coupons for Smart Ones, Lean Cuisines and would have these for my dinners every other day or so. You have to watch your sodium intake though. As far as my points range, I tried to stick to the low side of them. For exercise, I walked my dog a lot,(which she loved). The dog weighs 100 pounds, so sometimes she took me for a walk,LOL. It was definitely a fast pace. I never banked points for exercise or for the days when I did not use all my points. I figured these were a bonus. I could not believe how much energy I had when the weight started to come off and I am a smoker. I did the maintenance for 6 weeks and made lifetime on Dec 4th ( instructor missed a couple of weeks). I have not done too bad over the holidays, I did allow myself to partake of all the great holiday food, but thats over and I am OP for the last pounds to come off. I know that I will always have to be careful of how I eat, it will be a way of life from now on. Sorry this is so longggggggg! Forgive me. Hope this helps someone to get motivated and visualize yourself healthier and thinner. ShrlieB
