Hi ladies,

I've been away for a while, and that's why I haven't written. I hope you'll

take me back.

I wrote in when I was 6wk3d, and the doctor had told me I miscarried. He

said from the amount of blood that I lost, that it looked like a definite

miscarriage. He booked me for a D & C, but first he wanted to do an

ultrasound to find out where the tissue was.

I was still bleeding heavily (bright red) when I had my ultrasound, and they

told me the fetus was still alive in my left horn! They said I had a huge

clot in the right horn, and it would probably pass as a whole. They said it

would be extremely painful, and I wouldn't know if it was a miscarriage

passing or just the clot. They wanted me near the hospital in case I needed

a transfusion, so I was on bed rest for most of June at my parent's house

(near the hospital).

I've been bleeding since then, bits of the clot are breaking off, but the

doctor says I'm still pregnant. I'm 11wks on Tuesday, and my next app't is

on the 18th when I'm 13wks.

I've missed this board, and am happy to be back. I see this as a miracle and

am having a hard time believing there is something growing in me.

Sorry this is so long.

Thanks,

Congratulations, !! That's the greatest news!!

I'm at week 9 & admittedly over-worried about having a miscarriage. Your

news is inspirational that it's not always what it seems to be. Although

I'm still waiting for week 14!!

Your definately on my prayer list this week (of course, everyone on this

list is)!! Best of luck to you. Your news really brightened my day!!

Thanks for sharing it!!
