1 day post op...hard time rinsing mouth

Hi all,

I am having a hard time rinsing my mouth. The splint makes it hard

for me to fully close my lips. The spling also takes up space in my

mouth so my tounge cannot move around freely. The splint also seals

up the entire front teeth so liquids cannot freely past back and

forth from my inside my mouth past my front teeth. Makes sense?

Maybe I am still delirious from all the drugs. haha Actually, I am

on no pain killers and experiencing virtually no pain.

I can only take liquids as my throat is still a little sore from the

tube that went from my nose into my throat. Also, for some reason my

tounge is not that functional yet.

I will still have to experiment in finding the hole where I can shoot

blended food into my mouth. The liquids are easy since it just goes

past my teeth with ease. I would imagine blended food will not be

that easy.
