Guest guest
Barb & , It stinks that hearing impaired individuals get restricted, limited or zero coverage for the technology that it needs to enable them to hear!! I talked to another fellow in South Carolina last week. Similar situation in hearing aids. He asked about the ADA in relation to hearing aids. I had to be frank and say, " I don't know if it has been tested and encouraged him to try. " He is going to file a complaint with the EEOC against his private insurance company for denying coverage of hearing aids the " only " treatment to give his daughter hearing. Maybe, if enough people pull together and demand change, we will see improvement. I am going to keep fighting. As the parable of the persistent widow in the book of Luke perhaps I will receive justice if nothing else by our perserverance.(smile) Feel free to contact Benicorp with your thoughts. ******************************** Benicorp Ins.
