Thanks for being there for all of us. Your experience, knowledge and good

old East Texas common sense has kept our eyes on the right tract all these

years.

Please kept the faith and stay the course with us. We need to hear what you

have to say, even when we don't agree with it. I wish you health and

happiness in everything in the coming years.

Oh, my goodness, Ron, you tell Gene that he has a lot of " spark " left and

there is no telling what might happen!!! Just kidding, Gene is a great

person, EMS educator, Boss, and friend.

Gene,

You may have passed the torch, but you have allot of spark left to start

a fire any time you want. Tell Jane congratulations.

Passing the Torch

For the past 12 years I have been privileged to be the Director of the EMS

Professions Program at Tyler Junior College. Now it is time that someone else

has a chance to lead this program. So I am very happy to announce that as of

yesterday, the new Department Chair for Emergency Medical Service Professions

at Tyler Junior College is Jane Hill, AAS, LP.

I will remain with the program as an instructor and will concentrate on

instruction and the areas of continuing education and clinical/field

experiences.

Thank you all for the wonderful help and cooperation you have afforded me as

director of the program, and I ask you all now to give the same help and

cooperation to Jane.

I will still be an active member of this list and will continue to comment on

issues of interest to the EMS community, but I will no longer be the

spokesperson for the TJC EMSP Department. That person will be Jane Hill, so

please address any questions or requests for information about our program

to her rather than to me. Her email address is: jhil@....
