Iowa Bill--Hey all you Iowans, help!!!

I have been speaking to one of my friends who is also a representative in our

state government. I have been forwarding lots of good info to her about the

mercury problems, and suggesting a bill to ban mercury in Iowa. She wrote me a

Christmas letter and said she can't find any groups to support this, and a bill

won't fly without support. (Actually, she wrote " medical groups " , but earlier

was talking about environmental groups). Can anyone please help get some

support going? Especially those of you around Des Moines? I have her ear, and

she has the info. so let's make this go!!!

I can probably find you a number if you don't find it.

I gave the DAMS number and contact to my rep. but I don't know if she went

any further with it.

Iowa DAMS put out a book which contains the stories ( " anecdotal " evidence) of a

number of us from all around the country who had mercury poisoning from our

dental fillings and improved upon removing the source. Many in the book have

specific diagnoses including chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, etc.

Providing those to key legislators might prove helpful. They cost $5 each for

DAMS members.

I am from Iowa too....one of the country's best kept secrets. I live

by Des Moines. Beautiful place. Lovely people.

What I learned first when moving here, " There is no such thing as bad
