Guest guest
For all of you battling a yeast problem. When do you stop the anti-yeast herbs or meds? Must you run another urine test? How do you know you are making progress? We are rotating 5 different herbs - 4 days in a row and plan to continue for 3 cycles.(Based on Dr. Biamonti web site) My son has a super red bottom that looks sore. I'm ready to take a break - we are on day 35. Thanks, Holly

Also as the yeast die-off they release toxic substances which make our son behave as though he is on LSD (which is derived from mold ergot), IM not kidding. Several days after starting him on antifungal he would go into these laughing fits which lasted for hours. Fortunately this has not been the case as often now but sometimes when he gets his first dose of the dayhe'll go into a short laughing spell about an hour after receiving the med. Another gauge for us is that he is finally getting firmer stools. He had not had firm stools in a row since early summer. Now they are much firmer and only get loose again when someone gives him too much sugar (usually juice) which feeds the yeast. As for knowing exactly when the die-off occurs thats harder to tell. Some always remain, a fecal test would indicate the presence of yeast by-products.
