Guest guest
Stacey, Insemination is usually done when there is either a CM problem (hostile CM) or a low sperm count. Doing insemination wouldn't actually decrease your chances of an ectopic. Check with your doctor, but I believe that this is right. Take care, Krista
Guest guest
Dear Krista, I have been thinking a lot about this recently and I was wondering your opinion. After my last EP in August and my left tube was removed I never had another HSG. my two ep's were in my left tube and the m/c I had they think I must have gotten pg through the right tube (good tube). Well I was just thinking that when we undergo all these drugs and scans starting Feb 1 spending a lot of money I could end up with another EP. The instructions on my protocol sheet include the fee's and instructions for insemination as well as intercourse during the ovulation time. I'm wondering what info you have on this because I was thinking maybe we should spend the extra money and go this route. I am just so afraid of having another ep that maybe this would be the safer route. I am not to clear on what the procedure even is or how it is done. The day we had the meeting with the RE she asked about my husband accessibility on the day that we need his sperm and I corrected her and said " oh we aren't doing insemination we will have intercourse when you tell us it's time. " Well I didn't even discuss it before I blurted that out, I should have listened (not my strong suit) to the pro's and con's of each scenario. I could kick myself for doing stupid stuff like that and then I stew over it and worry when I get home. What do you think about the insemination process? Thanks for your help, Stacey McCoy pg > Dawn, > > Those #'s look great. And as you said its already different from your > other 2 pg's.
