Guest guest
I am sitting here checking email and all of a sudden this tremendous feeling has come over me like I can't move. I feel like I am on a tilt-a-whirl and being pushed back (like gravity pulling me back and weighing me down). I don't feel like I can move and have the sensation of tunnel vision. This happened a year ago to me and I couldn't really move and could barely speak for a couple of hours. Does anyone know what I am talking about? It's pretty scary. I am contemplating waking my husband up and going to the hospital. But it's the middle of the night and the kids are asleep and he's got work...yada yada you know. I hate to concern him. But this feeling is quite scary and I feel like I am being pushed down all over my body even my face and like I am frozen or paralyzed. Yet, I know I'm not because I can use my hands right now. Any help? Or has anyone ever experienced this? Uuuuggughhh! I hate summers and I hate the heat. Every year seems to trigger worse symptoms. Guest guest
The only time I felt like that was when I had something going on with my ears. It literally pushed me on my bed and I couldn’t move for a couple minutes. Finally after I moved my head slowly things stabilized. I never had that before and it was quite scary. I don’t think it had anything to do with the MS, as it turned out I had an ear infection. But now I have dizziness quite often, and I don’t know if it’s the MS affecting my ear nerves? They don’t feel plugged, but I always have some sinus stuff going on. You could always call an ambulance as they would help you get up onto the gurney. If it doesn’t improve soon, then I would go to the hosp. one way or another. If not tonight, call your Dr. first thing in the morning. Mine was related to an ear infection, yours might not have anything to do with your ears. If you can let us know what happens. Guest guest
I have chronic vertigo and it effects my balance and gait. The neuro said if you ever have vertigo you always have it because your equilibrium never corrects(This is the nice neuro not the doo-doo head that said I needed a psych.) It is related to my MS though because of where my one lesion they can find is located ' in Texas Yea Connie and Tammy....we are below a 100 finally.Jackie Hanan wrote: The only time I felt like that was when I had something going on with my ears. Guest guest
Hi n, I am on Betaseron right now. It is better this morning but I can still feel it. Weird huh? Thanks for the answer. I'll look into rotational vertigo. I'll also call my neuro today to see if I can see him prior to Sat. THanks,n Rojas wrote: This sounds like rotational vertigo.
