Guest guest
I live across San Francisco Bay from San Francisco, in Oakland. We have had the HOTTEST year on record. San Francisco is noted for its cold (relatively) summers--the S.F. Bay area often has a few days of wild HEAT at the end of August or the beginning of September--just totorture the school kids, but THIS is outrageous. AND we have nearly 3,000 miles of river dikes in this state which the federal administration will not help us repair, despite frantic pleas from our State Governor, Arnold Schwarzneger, a republican (not that that is bad). Of course, the drier it gets, the more fires we have, and the more water that is taken from the ground to fight them, the more likely we are to have earth quakes--already having tons, relatively small, but many! So, hear I am, with one of the most beautiful views in the world, a nice, safe and responsible housing complex, my incomelette, Medicare and Medicaid (Medi-Cal here), and I am just DROWNING in sweat! So far, no MAJOR MS symptoms, a few mild ones, but this is the PITS. I kind of envy the folks in Norway! Love to all of you, and hoping that those hurricanes will spare the Gulf States, or at least largely so, n, the truly Desperate MS patient~
