Guest guest
, Any chance your doc gave a dosage to try to help pin this one down? You are correct that there is not a metropropranolol. He could have been meaning metoprolol, which is also a beta blocker like propranolol. However, he could also have been trying to say metaproterenol, which is a bronchodilator sold under the brand name of Alupent. Hope this helps, MG >>> " Skeese " 01/05/01 12:18PM >>> Has anyone ever heard of s/l metropropranolol? I had this today and could not find it in any of my references. I have heard of Propranolol but not with metro on the beginning.
Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who responded I think the closes was metoproterenol, but I don't think that goes along with her diagnosis. I too thought of Metoprolol I have this quite often since I type for hospitals, so I am going to draw a blank because he did not stumble over it. It was clearly stated. Thanks again all.
