Use

Relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis; management of acute pain

in adults; treatment of primary dysmenorrhea

Usual Dosage

Adult: Oral:

Osteoarthritis: 12.5 mg once daily; may be increased to a maximum of 25 mg

once daily

Acute pain and management of dysmenorrhea: 50 mg once daily as needed (use

for longer than 5 days is not recommended)

Dosage Forms

Suspension, oral: 12.5 mg/5 mL (150 mL); 25 mg/5 mL (150 mL)

Tablets: 12.5 mg, 25 mg

Could the medication be Vioxx? Sometimes doctors either say too many vowels

or not enough.
