Oh, and replying to my own post here, (remember the old rule that you are

not a full member of PA until you have misspelled your own name and replied

to your own post? Do our newbies know this important information?), let me

add that I do not intend to continue seeing this counselor. It's a waste of

time and money.

Are you looking for a new counselor?

B

Crazy as a Loon!

I had a counselling session with Lou yesterday.

He has $15, is two months behind in his rent and the bank is calling him about

his car payment. He thinks he may lose his car.

He feels that I should get a job so that I can help him out.

Or I should tell my parents to give him a couple thousand dollars because I

kept the tax refunds two years in a row. The first year I kept the refund to

replace our fifty year old furnace; the next year he forced me to agree to give

him the money by withholding child support from me until I did. My lawyer

advised me not to give him the refund; she said, " He'll owe it to you soon

enough. "

He did not pay child support for two months last year and he was never able to

pay the full amount of support. He owes me at least five thousand dollars so

how do I owe him two thousand?

Our counselor had the brilliant suggestion that Lou should move back in. No

way!

My parents have told me not to give him any of the money that they give to me.

They do not want him to move back in. My lawyer agrees.

He only got around to applying for any social services when he was down to

$25.

Once again responding to my own post!

Lou wants me to economize by stopping Putter's OT, which costs $240 a month,

and giving that money to him.

??????????????

Fortunately, Community Mental Health is reimbursing me for that money so the

OT doesn't really cost me anything, as I told him.

Then he said, " Well, I don't understand why you won't let me have that money

then. "

I have an idea.

How about Lou move in with the counselor?

I don't believe this man.

Does it bother him at all that he is not supporting his children?

Why is it that YOU can go out and get a job to support him but HE can't go

out and get a job to support himself, never mind his children??????????

This counselor..... got her degree at 7-11, huh?

OMG!!!! <thud> sorry that was my jaw hitting the floor Salli. I

cannot believe the counsellor seriously suggested Lou move back in!!

Is this your regular counsellor?? If so I would be asking them if

he/she has ever actually LISTENED to you . I know you won't give him

any money but I'll say it anyway, SALLI DON'T GIVE HIM ANY MONEY!!!

Your counselor is nuts. Let Lou move in with her. Don't give him one red cent.

I wish you didn't have to deal with this, Salli. Honestly, for all you put up

with, you should get a medal, or a big fat cash reward.

Move in with you? Give him money? Any money? I don't think so! He

made his own bed. He can just go lie in it. You reap what you sow

and boy did he sow a alot of messy stuff. Those are his problems not

yours. Don't you even consider buying into it for a moment. He

earned every bit of his troubles. Let him wallow in it.

Oooh! Oooh! I know! Pick me!

'Kay. You won't give him the money 'cause...um...wait a minute, I know this

one...it's either 'cause he's a flaming idiot who doesn't know how to use money

wisely and doesn't deserve it in the first place, or 'cause you actually have a

family that you have to support and care for on the small amount of money you

have, right?

Did you laugh at him for asking such a ridiculous thing?

I think it is time for Lou to get a job. And if one dont cut it, he

needs to get a second one. But asking you or your family for money is

unbelievable. And moving back in is outrageous.

Cant find any words.

Here's MY brilliant suggestion: NEVER go back to see this quack again.

What POSSIBLE reason did she offer for having Lou move back IN with you????

(would SHE let a white-collar criminal with a tendancy toward domestic

violence who previously was the subject of a restraining order move back

into HER home???)

ACK!!!!!

I'm really glad you said that, and I'm really glad I read it before I called

the counselor all those bad names.

Oh, what a mess. I'm so sorry. Please keep safe.

All of you are always in my prayers. Even Lou.

OK, I wasn't going to post this, but after reading that I've got to do it.

Our TV was left on the other nights and COPS came on. I was nursing the

baby & could not get up to turn the TV off, and by the time I could get up,

I was engrossed.

There were 3 people living in a trailor. A man, his mother, and his

" girlfriend " of 22 years. The " girlfriend " is a paranoid schizophrenic on

disability. The mother and son don't want her living with them but her name

is on the lease so they can't kick her out. The " girlfriend " called 911

because she thought he was going to hit her, although he hadn't. But she

said " he beats on me " and showed her bruises from the last time. The cop

went over to talk with the man, who ranted on and on about how they were

trying to kick the " girlfriend " out and how glad he was the cops had come

and they were going to take care of it. After a bit the cop turned the man

around and cuffed him and told him he was under arrest for assault.

The man said, " Whose side are you on, anyway? "

Living in a different world, man. That's had me thinking about Lou a lot

lately. I mean, just...not here with the rest of us.

OK I'm done. Thank you, please drive through.

-Sara.
