Just wanted to let Tory (and everyone else of course!) know about how things

went at the restaurant this weekend. I told my husband before hand what I

wanted to eat and what I wanted to stay away from. Just knowing that he knew

what I wanted to eat & avoid was enough to keep me on track. I only ended up

eating something slightly expected (8tortilla chips & a tbsp of dip) but

dutifully counted it on my PDA and burned off the points in exercise today :)

Awesome Sara! That's a wonderful way to approach restaurant eating. I

think it can be kind of " scary " to go out to a restaurant when we're

first starting WW, but with some homework and enough fortitude to make

special requests, it can be kind of fun.

When I started in the summer I dreaded going to restaurants. Which at

the time happened at least twice a week. I carried my points books with

me and checked everything. Also started searching the internet for

local restaurants that offered nutritional info. After awhile, you

learn the point values of many things without having to run for the book

all the time. I can now eat at a restaurant without panicing about

points.
