Added to all the other crap I live with our insurance has bounced my husband's last MRI. They said that I didn't precertify it. When we made the appointment the doctors office said that they would do it. Last week my therapist said to me what would happen if you dropped a ball? Like it was ok to drop something and it wouldn't be a big deal. Yeah RIGHT - we're talking over 11 thousand dollars. I'm appealing the decision cause what the hell they're going to charge me 11 grand for not making a phone call? I don't even dare tell my husband - this would probably give him another stroke. Actually I think it's surprising that I can manage to not cry. Sorry for dumping this on you... I don't dare tell anyone here at home. I'm sick of getting blamed for everything. Guest guest
OMG, !! I hope it works out and they cover it. Have you talked to the doctor's office and asked why they did not pre-certify it like they had said they would? If the insurance does not cover it, the doctor's office should have to be responsible for it. take care.... You are obviously not up to it. You don't have to spare your husband the stress of life because of a stroke. This bill, valid or not, is yours as a couple. Whatever you do with it, he should be a part of. I can understand your fear.... but still, I feel so bad that you're having to take care of this by yourself! Who is blaming you for what? Go hollering back to them! Have I mentioned lately my feelings about insurance? It's not very polite.

I am fairly certain that they will pay because he's suppose to have another one this weekend. I am precertifing this one and it wouldn't make any sense that they would do one and not the other. My only fea is getting a call today or tomorrow that says they won't precertify this one either. AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa G
