Guest guest
Congratulations ! Jeans is an exciting step Especially size 14 jeans - you can get those at regular stores!!!!! Sara I am wearing the one pair of jeans I could find at the second hand store. Wow, what a difference! I can see the loss now and so can other people. All my daycare parents said something this morning when they came in. Once I hit 50 lbs I knew that new clothes were important. I've been hiding behind all this big, baggy stuff. Hoping to get another pair or two of jeans tonight then out with all the old baggy stuff. Don't need any " just in case clothes " hanging around. Only down to a size 14 but much better than the 22 (minimum) I was wearing in the summer!

Guest guest
From a 22 to a 14 is a HUGE difference! Definitely get rid of those 22s. You won't ever need them again. Maybe someone at your WW meetings can use them, or send them to the Goodwill where they will be given a second life. Re: Jeans! SEEE Isn't it great!! Jeans! Guest guest
Hey , YOU ROCK!! WOW a size 14!! (do NOT say ONLY a size 14, LOL 14 is FOURTEEN!!) Ain't it great! And good for you for getting rid of your " just in case " things. NO one needs that lurking in a closet somewhere. Getting them GONE, just goes to show how serious you are about this. KEEP UP THE NICE WORK!! Bev > I am wearing the one pair of jeans I could find at the second hand > store. Wow, what a difference! I can see the loss now and so can other > people. Guest guest
I am really tall (5'10 " ) and most of me is legs. I swear my boobs weigh at least 10 lbs! You can really see the weight loss from my waist down. Especially my legs. But my upper body is taking its time. But I did get two pairs of jeans at walmart tonight for $18 a piece. They were 34x32's. So long enough, finally. It has been a really long time since I have seen a 34. Tomorrow I will clean out the closet and get rid of the baggy stuff. Guest guest
So far all of my clothes have gone to goodwill or a neighbour. The neighbour was losing weight but is gaining again (thyroid problems) so I will send all my 16's-18's to goodwill. As long as they are out of the house! Guest guest
Hi Bev! That is how my figure is. I am only 5'4 " and in 18s and a few 16s but all my weight is in the middle. Sometimes I think if all my middle area was sucked out I wouldn't look half bad. =) Like a really curvy voluptuous kinda big. LOL! Some people are the opposite, and the boobs are the first thing to go. With me, I had dropped almost 50 pounds at one point, and I'm still tight in a C cup - which beats a DD anyday, but is still... notable. That's one area that just won't go away - that and my belly. Sigh. All I can do is exercise and hope
Guest guest
Do you find yourself still going to the large department? I do. I'll walk through, start looking and realize, " Wow, I don't need to shop here! " Don't get me wrong. I am so thankful that someone somewhere decided that fat women were " good enough " to wear classy, stylish clothing. I'm glad it was there when I needed it, but I'm happy not to have to shop there. ****************************** Y'know - now you can shop in the regular section <g> - gosh I remember that feeling - not going into " women's " anymore, but getting to shop at the front of the store, where the pretty clothes are. Guest guest
On the flip side I went from a DD (a tight DD) to a B! A B! I swear we should have a wake for my boobs. I kind of miss them. They were fun. They were a conversation piece. Now I have to wear a water bra just to look like I have something up there! Re: Jeans! Guest guest
I can't imagine going from a DD to a B! Although I curse these suckers everyday! I don't think I was ever a B. Everyone I talk to either complains because they are too small, or complains they are too big. I don't know anyone who is truely happy with their size. If I could get to a C I think I would be satisfied. Tory K wrote: > On the flip side I went from a DD (a tight DD) to a B! A B! I swear we > should have a wake for my boobs. I kind of miss them. Guest guest
So far I have gone from a 36 G (very tight, but just couldn't bring myself to by an H) to and 34 DD or 36 D and I wouldn't mind one bit if the rest left too!! My husband was playing with my boobs the other day, and I asked him, what are you doing? He said, " playing with what is left... " Ha! I would have them removed and put on a board for him to play with whenever he wanted if I could!! Semalee Either you are in control, or you are being controlled. I choose to be in control. 176.4/142.8/125 -- Re: Jeans! I can't imagine going from a DD to a B! Although I curse these suckers everyday! I don't think I was ever a B. Guest guest
OH my gosh! After stepping on the scale the other day to find the 6 pound drop I went into the bedroom and discovered that aliens had stolen my butt! I swear! It is completely gone. My Levis are drooping. There is NOTHING there. So if someone has just a few pounds to spare that will go right there, I'll take them! Re: Re: Jeans! I'd be happy to donate a portion of my butt. Guest guest
Go do some weight lifting using your large leg muscles, specifically the gluteus, or glutes. It will give you a butt. I'd love to donate a few inches to you, as I have plenty to spare. It's just that I'm fairly certain that it doesn't work that way. ; ) > OH my gosh!
