Guest guest Posted April 6, 2008 Report Share Posted April 6, 2008 and All, Trimming your post means to delete everything except a line or 2 of the post you are replying to. In most email programs, the easiest way to do this is to highlight the text you want to get rid of and hit delete. If you use voice recognition software, you'll have to check the help file for the software you use, because I'm only familiar with the one I use on occasion. The idea is to leave enough of the old post so that everyone knows what you're talking about, but to get rid of everything that isn't vital to understanding. Trimming makes it easier for those on digest or those with vision difficulties. Thanks bunches!
