Hi Elise,

I'll be interested to hear what Dr may say too - I have had some pain in

the upper abdomen too (my fibroids are intramural and largest 7.5cm) and am

waiting on test results for low absorption of iron (I may be bleeding in the

bowel - they just want to rule that out!) It would lead to a colonoscopy if the

results are positive. I'm worried too and don't know anything about this

procedure at all so will share after I see the specialist which might be another

two weeks or so. Please let me know how it goes for you - you can e-mail me

My MRI showed this fibroid is compressing my bladder, and has displaced the

bladder, ovaries, and endome? too. So, it is definately pressing and moving

things around. >My Dr. also cannot assure me the pain I'm experiencing is

from this degenerating fibroid--so I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy this week.

I'm a nervous wreck worrying about what my problem is.< Elise
