Guest guest
Hi! I need the info and/or website to order these zip-n-squeeze bags, please. Hi again! My name is Terry. My daughter, Cory Ann will be having upper and lower jaw surgery to repair a Class III underbite. Her surgery is scheduled for May 21. She is 16 and is terrified, although anxious to get this done and get rid of jaw pain she has had for 4 years. During the next month, she will be working hard to complete school and do final exams so she won't have to worry about finishing school before summer. Our only school struggle---algebra!!! Ugh! The teacher isn't helping much either. I have had to get in his face often lately. Her plans are to work at a Bible Camp this summer (upon the approval of her mom and her oral surgeon! LOL!) By reading all your posts within the past few days, I am not looking forward to telling her that this may be a 6 week recovery and Bible Camp may be out of the question. Heavens! I am going to be in a heap of trouble. I would rather be run over by a truck before telling her that information. We have been told 3/4 weeks of recovery, eating soft foods within 2 weeks. Her biology teacher (she is a sophmore) has asked her to do a report for extra credit on her upcoming surgery and jaw disorder. Since we are cramming in school work, I offered to help her find information about her surgery. Sharon's site was one of the first I found. Awesome site! Cory Ann hasn't been to her site yet, but I will insist that she do so soon. Our orthodontist and oral surgeon have pretty much kept us in the dark about the actual happenings with this surgery. Anyways, I want to start preparing things early. I need to get some of those zip-n-squeeze bags for her. She is terribly thin. At 5'10 " , she is only 125 pounds right now. I think this will be a wonderful way to keep her fed and keep her weight up. My blender is ready for use. Next I need to go throught the recipes again and find what she will eat. So---information, information, information!! It seems like I can never get enough information. Thanks for your help. Have a great day. Terry Terry Bauer Crafting Creations Christiancrafting.com www.christiancrafting.com To zip-n-squeeze from Sabine I just wanted to thank you for making such a great product. It made my recovery so much easier. Once I started using zip-n-squeeze I stopped loosing weight and I had a lot less food in my face and much more in my stomach. I recommend your product to anybody who is having this surgery. I would tell them to order the bags before surgery and just not even mess with the seringes. I could have saved myselve a lot of frustration and messy clothes if I would have done that. I am now 6 weeks post-op and started eating 'real' food. I retired my bags yesterday. Thanks for making zip-n-squeeze. Sabine
