Subject: Lab help Last evening, he noticed large amounts of bright red blood in his bowel movements times two. He presented to the Emergency Department at that time. Stool was obtained for Clostridium difficile, which was negative. He tells me that he dropped off other stool samples today, presumably for s/l " C & S (culture and sensitivity) or CNS " and perhaps s/l " L & P or LNP " .
