Guest guest
Probiotics (note it's " for " life, not " anti " biotics) are bacteria that occur naturally within the body and can decrease greatly when certain things, such as intestinal problems, have changed the natural balance. A major example is lactobacillus acidophhilus. For example, we all have some candida (yeast), but when it is in excess, often due to excess antibiotics and/or cortisone, frequently just replacing some of the natural flora with probiotics can restore some balance. These come in bottles. I only buy from Harry, a guy in CA who makes the strongest kind which my doctor now uses exclusively. In fact, they are so strong that one patient gets so much die=off when yeast die after taking the probiotics that she had to back off. But that's unusual. In my experience I have never success except with Harry's product (no connection to me, I just like his stuff). On Harry's stuff, I at least can eat fruit and not get yeast symptoms. I will say, though, that for most people, there is probably no point in taking probiotics and eating sugars and refined foods. This is just my opinion, naturally, and you must do what your own medical decisions indicate. Warmly, Beth
