Guest guest
Deb... I can't believe noone else has this sweating problem.. Yes it came with the RSD and it usually happens from the waiste down. No one else on the forum sweats from the RSD? I thought sweating was part of RSD since the sympathethic nervous system is in control of that. That's my understanding anyway. I don't know if I'm in menapause, peri-menapause or anything as I had a hysterectomy but kept my overies. As of last year, blood work showed I was no way near it. But things can change. Guest guest
Jackie I sweat so bad I need to change clothes some times several times a day. Night time is the worse. MY hair gets soaking wet along with the rest of my body. I also emit a sweet icky odor when I sweat this bad. So sometimes I have to take several showers a day. Its pretty bad when u can smell yourself. Also my sheets, pillow cases get wet. I know lots of people online who sweat real bad. Guess they just arent on this list. Guest guest
Jackie, I don't know about everyone else but I have the sweating problem, too. And it's not just from the waist down. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and I'm soaked from head to toe. This will happen sometimes 3 times per night!!! Guest guest
The one thing with all this sweating is that I don't sweat under my arms, you know the armpit area to put it delicately? I also don't grow hair there anymore, haven't for a few years now. I also don't generate any kind of odor there either. This happens to be one of my favorite side affects from RSD. LOL Of course I more than make up for it with the sweating around my face. When the RSD first started I used to have to keep a bandanna or towel with me at all times so I could wipe my face and keep my glasses dry. Guest guest
Jeanne, I haven't bought deodorant in years. I do keep getting those little free samples in the mail so I use them occasionally. I think the hair on my legs isn't growing as much as it used to. I don't shave I use Nair and that never used to work on me but does now. I hated shaving with all the numb spots on my legs it gave me a creepy feeling to see the razor there but not to feel it. I know I am strange! LOL Yes, my chest sweats too. Running in rivulets and especially under my breasts, well not under them but the area below them is a more accurate description. Like I said in another post I used to always have a bandana on or a towel in my pocketbook, especially when going to an amusement park or carnival. I even sweat on the backs of my thighs which can be very embarrassing Felice

Guest guest
The hair around both my knees to about 1 1/2 inches (I'm only 4'10 " ) all the way around my knees no longer grows. I only have to shave my calf's! And the hair grows unevenly under my arms. Kathy
