For what it's worth, I just started my 4-year-old son on Primal Defense powder, not capsules. I am able to mix it in some of his dark-colored food. The taste isn't very strong, but the color is. Guest guest
Yeast Avenger bu CFS Nutrition. [ ] ? on D-lenolate, caprylic acid, aloe vera, and probiotics I recently read about someone using D-lenolate and caprylic acid to help fight yeast. Has anyone here tried those products? If so, were there any side effects? How effective were the products? Also, what about Aloe Vera? I've been trying to decide which probiotic to try as well, for my 5 year old son. I've been considering the Perfect Stool Formula, and Bio-Kult (which is similar to Primal Defense, but comes in a capsule that can be opened and mixed with something). Any comments on either of these, or on other effective probiotics? I want something that I can actually get into him! LOL (and that won't lose it's effectiveness if I have to mix it with a drink.) He doesn't like supplements that float on the top of his drink. Other there other yeast fighting and/or probiotic supplements I should look into? Thanks! It cost $39. Also, my son's DAN doctor (who is in Florida) could have mailed me powder, though it would have been more expensive. So it's available out there. And by the way, when I said I was able to mix it in dark foods successfully, please note that the directions say it should be given with juice or water, not food, but that was the best I could do. Good luck!

Guest guest
Janice, I have my daughter on caprylic acid (MCT oil) and culturelle at night. The MCT oil is from VRP as is the Culturelle. I give her one tsp. of oil each morning and night and 1 capsule of culturelle. This combination has been very effective in addressing her yeast issues. The oil is easy to give since it is virtually tasteless. As for the culturelle, I mix it into peaches baby food. Works like a charm! paula
