Hi:

My advice (...and I am a partner in one of the lead firms in the Vaccine

Injury Alliance, so I will try not to be too biased) is check out the

firms/lawyers experience in Vaccine related litigation and, ask whether or not

they are first filing claims with the NVICP as a precursor to filing a civil

action. I will not comment about the others, that would not be ethical. Also,

visit the websites and talk to friends in the autism world you know and trust.

Personnaly, I choose to associate myself with Eddie , Conway,

Cliff Shoemaker and the others in the alliance for many reasons.

My background is on our firms website--Father of Ben & Joe, my 7 yr-old

autistic twins (and (8) and Gracie (3), 3rd V-P of ASA and Chairman of

ASA's Gov't Relations Committee, Texas Rep for Unlocking Autism, Co-founder of

ARK--the group that did the first Autism Awareness Rally " Hear~their~Silence " in

DC on April 8, 2000, co-emcee for last years rally that Unlocking Autism put on,

and so.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me or call directly.

I had the same question, but I'll ask some others. Who exactly are

these groups suing? Is there any reason not have several groups take

on one's own case?
