Guest guest
, Bummmmmmerrrrr! I'm sorry to hear that your surgery is cancelled! I have not been scheduled yet, but have been bounced back and forth between ortho and surgeon, all with being told " you're very close " . That usually translates to " three more weeks " before we can schedule something. I've heard " three more weeks " about 4 times. It'll truly be a mystery when I get my surgery, too. Hope something happens for you soon. Irish! > Thanks to our lovely healthcare (lack of it) in British Columbia my > surgery has been cancelled! Guest guest
Hey, ! I'm so sorry about the cancellation. It can drive you loopy if you let it. But ouch! You hit a nerve there. I'm 56, almost 57. Due for surgery in June. No lawyer son. No grandchildren. No children, for that matter. So you think I'm beyond the pale? (Tee hee!) Actually, it's not bad at all to be 56. Better than the alternative, anyhow. Cammie
Guest guest
lol, yesterday after jiu-jitsu training, a guy in my class asked me how old I was. I thought about it for a minute, and then said 26. I just turned 27 last month. I wonder why I lied? He thought I was 18. > Hey, ! I'm so sorry about the cancellation. It can drive you > loopy if you let it. > > But ouch! Guest guest
And hey -- I'll bet you're underestimating your appeal to the ladies! Lots of folks your age, though, seem to think that every date is a prelude (or a trial run for) a marriage contract. Try relaxing about it some, and look for someone who enjoys the same things you do. (And she need not necessarily be a Britney look-alike either.) The ask her to do something you'd both enjoy, and just go out for an enjoyable evening. I would bet it might go better than you expect! And you didn't lie -- just adjusted your figures a bit!
