I am waaaaaaaay out in West Texas - - Midland is halfway between Dallas and El Paso - 300 miles to either one! Think that's why it's called "Mid-land" - we're also 125 miles from San Angelo to the South and 125 miles from Lubbock to the North, so there is not much that is very close to us but oil wells - - just sorry I don't own one of them! My name is Helon, I live in Abilene and am the Weight Recorder for our chapter. I joined TOPS about 5 years ago, and much to my shame have stayed about the same. I still have almost 60 lbs to go to reach my doctors goal for me. I'll meet my personel goal at another 40 lbs. I'm 64 years young, married, have 6 grown children, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grand children the youngest of whom made his appearance this morning at 8:15 AM, he weighed in at 8 lbs 1/2 oz, and 20 1/2 inches long, blonde hair. I am also 64 years old, married, two children, 5 grandchildren, but no "greats" yet. I have two grandsons in college, so I'm hoping it will be awhile before they think marriage and children. Will you be going to Lubbock for Fall Rally on the 25th? If so, I'll hope to see you there. And by-the-way, don't be ashamed that you have stayed about the same weight since you joined TOPS - - I have been up and down and around for a lot more years than that - but I finally made KOPS in May of this year, so JUST HANG IN THERE!!!
