Guest guest
Shirley it has been very warm the past few days and will get warm this weekend as well. Is your home keeping you comfortable? My wifes sister Val got divorced shortly after they were married and had 2 kids. Her oldest Charlie graduated this spring and his father by the courts was ordered to stay away from the kids without a third party there to monitor the visitation. They finally changed the whole deal and he wasn't suppose to ever see the kids and he also got of having to pay child support. When Charlie had his graduation his father showed up. That was all ok he really needed to see Charlie graduate. His father ended up getting remarried they were also divorced which wasn't a surprise. They ended up with a child and Charlie's father had his other son there and it was funny that boy was about 6 and when Charlie was that age they looked exactly the same. Charlie had glasses at that age and so did his father new son did as well. They looked like twins but Charlie was several years older. Stay cool. Looks like I have to go straight to trial and let a judge decide what I get. Steve can NOT get any of my money, so that's good. But whether or not a judge will give me any of Steve's $ as maintenance is up in the air with a judge. So I stay here in the house as long as possible and save save save. Go to vocational rehab which is free for me since I'm on SSDI and get training for some work I can do at home. I won't do it until after the divorce though. Life sure does suck sometimes. I wonder what I did to deserve this bad stuff. 2 lousy husband's, illnesses, etc. It's sucking the energy right out of me! Thanks for looking into a lawyer for me. Rob said a free one is going to be best for me cause I can't make Steve pay for my legal fees. A lawyer wants the $ up front so I would have to deal with Steve not paying me back the $. Rob gets $1500 for retainer. then when that runs out it's another $1500. If Steve's lawyer takes his time on stuff then the $1500 keeps piling up. He told me he's very busy too. I got the hint that I wasn't going to be a money maker for him. Steve's mom will help him I'm sure with legal fees. But I have to call the bar assoc and see what to do now. Thanks again. x0x0x0 Shirley
