Maybe you have a different life experience than I or we see things differently. I have NEVER weighted 150lbs as an adult. I weighted 150lbs when I was 15 or so years old. I do not see how I could possible expect to get to a weight I was when I was still a growing teenager? When was the last time you weighted 150lbs? Maybe I am just not expecting enough (that would definatly be a first for me). But the way I see it I weighted 210 when I was 20. If I could ever get there I would think I would be lucky. I am only 5 ft 3 and so 210 would stil be very fat. But when I was on phen/fen I got to 220 and I could JOG! I could out play/run/whatever my 4 kids. Yes I was still fat but it felt fine on me. My kids look at pictures of me when I was 20 and weighted 210 and say " Ma you said you were always fat.. You are not fat there " .. Yes I was fat but on me it did not look fat I guess.??? -- ----------------------------------------------------------- cherylb@... -----------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Cheryl, I think we have different ways of looking at things. I don't care how much weight I was able to lose in the past or how much I weighed at any particular age, this surgery for me is about a new future. And in my new future 150 is a realistic goal for me. The end. I wish you luck, b. Like I said I did not mean it in a bad way.
