Guest guest
After reading all the things coming my way from ya'll. (By the way, thanks!) I am wondering if this Christmas should be spent at home, alone. Our tradition is to go to my Grandparent's house where this year our number should be around 30. This includes a brand new baby with her nursing mother, my cousin. My RAI is scheduled for Tuesday, and our four kids come home Sunday night, day 6ish or so post-RAI. Christmas will technically be day 8, which according to some standards seems safe, but according to others, it's still a marginal sort of thing. I love my family very much, and would be completely willing to sacrifice one Christmas for the sake of good health for all. Not to mention the " Why is she here? " question that no one will ask aloud. Speaking of children coming home, is it responcible, or paranoid to have the carpets and favorite chair cleaned on day 5/6 post RAI, before kids come home? (My husband's line of work before he quit to go to school was carpet cleaning and he can get it done now for very low cost, if not for free.) However, I can think of more convenient times to get the carpets done rather than 3 days before Christmas. (Maybe it would be easier on everyone's psyche if I just borrowed a Geiger counter from the hospital. . . LOL!!) I have had my lab work done today, and will report to you what the results were as soon as I find out. (Because trying to search for the right levels in the messages posted is like looking for a needle in a haystack. . . even using " search. " ) Amy Meyer, 28 Cheney, Wa.
