This little " cite " was on the bottom of one of those hoax

virus alerts that come round occasionally.

Sound familiar?

" Any two or more ppl gathered together for the purpose of

sobriety may call themselves an AA group, providing that

they have no other affiliation. " (AA 4th tradition, long

form).

Even in 1939 or whenever that's a funny construction to use

to say " any guys can call themselves a group " . Ranks along

with " Works Publishing Inc. " as one of those teasing little

hints at what is really going on.

btw, i went to an OA group for the first time in along time

today - and met another skeptic like myself - boy, were we

glad to find each other! could be the start of somethin' -

not bad looking too. I'm abt to find out if OA's 4th

tradition is more honoured in the breech than in the

observance.
