endometrial hyperplasia

I have been reading the posts for about a month now and admire the

strength and support women receive from this group. I started my

period on May 3 and bled continuously for 65 days. About day 48 I

called my Dr. and he put me on a high dose of

BCP. I stopped bleeding for two days so we proceded with

progesterone for 10 days during which time I bled like so many of you

with the large clots and heavy bleeding. About 5 days after the last

progesterone pill I finally quit only to start up again 11 days

later. I went in to see my Dr and was diagnosed with multiple

fibroids using a fetal ultrasound. The Dr advised I have a D & C to

rule out cancer. I had the procedure two weeks ago and went in today

for the follow up. I have complex endometrial hyperplasia,

apparently a precancerous condition. My choices are three months of

hormone tx followed by another D & C to see if the hormones have

corrected the problem or hysterectomy. Has anyone else discovered

this condition while treating their fibroids and what have you done?
