We were going to Jare in T-ball in our town too, but then we found out about a Challenger's League for kid with Special Needs and we opted to start out in that one. Good luck and I hope he has fun:) Tommi

Guest guest
I don't think you did it wrong, but it might be nice to let the coach in on things once he has started, even if you don't use the " name " of the dx but rather, " Mitchel sometimes... " or " Mitchel needs help with... " or " Mitchel might ___ if this happens " ... I have found 's singing tutors at the Australian Girls Choir wonderful... she is in a class of 20 but can still be disruptive. Initially I didn't tell them, hoping they wouldn't really notice and that maybe she would fit in ok... well, I wish I had said something because they decided she was a naughty child. Now they understand, and things are much better. in Sydney, Australia Mum to , 6yo AS ADHD, and , 5yo mild hearing loss Re: Mitchel is playing T ball > Should I have said something? I have no idea if you did it wrong! :-) When Marc signed up for soccer he did mention it to the coach, who took it all in stride. Had I been there, I don't know if I would have or not, to tell the truth. Either way, I hope Mitchel has a GREAT time at T ball!!!! Guest guest
I'm not there yet Kerrie. I don't think I could get away with it anyway. I'm afraid Boone would take the bat and ball and go stand off by himself anyway. Good luck to ! I figured once he had a coach, I'd see how he did at practice, and would probably mention when 'coaching' mitchel using simple sentences, etc. But we have a T at home, and he LOVES playing with it, he gets mad at himself if he misses. I figured I'd try. for $40 it was worth a try, if it doesn't work out well, we just show back up for the last game to get the tropy Kerri
Guest guest
Kerri, I think you did it just right. This way, you'll get a chance to see ho he does, and you don't have to worry about anyone treating him doffrently, even if it is out of kindness. I think you did great, and I think will love it. Let us know, and post pics!!! " klwally " wrote: >Well I sent the registration in yesterday, and he'll be all set for >TBall.
