I have just ordered the book " Fibroids: The Complete Guide to Taking Charge of Your Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Well-Being " , which sounds just what i need. I am 45 and saw a gynae last week for the first time for a 9cm fibroid - he went from birth control pills to a hysterectomy in a nano second and I was NOT impressed. I am in the Boston area and am sure there are some great doctors at the various teaching hospitals here, that would be able to explore other options with me. ANy suggestions would be welcome.
