Guest guest
Dear Mark, From what I gather from your email this bleeding incident only happened that once. You don't say how long it lasted or how severe it was but if it was just one minor bleeding episode that happened only when you went to the bathroom one time then personally I wouldn't do anything about it yet. You, of course, are the final decision as to how serious a thing you think this was. Besides the trauma of having such a test done you also have the added problem of medical costs. At this point I'd suggest some research. You can look up the drug at either of these sites http://my.webmd.com/index http://www.rxlist.com/ . I looked a bit at the latter site and one of the less common symptoms was hemorrhoids which could have been responsible for the bleeding episode. You can also look up the rectal bleeding itself and see what things could cause that. You could probably find something on the first site about it. Again the final decision to go through with this test or not is yours. If I were in this situation though my decision would be to wait. As for the swelling issue - I have osteoarthritis in both knees and I never experience swelling. But then again, as stated here so many times before, we are all different. Personally I rarely swell. It has to be major trauma, like surgery, for me to have any swelling. So maybe it's just me :-) I'd suggest you use the sites above to check out the Miacalcin and any other meds you are taking to see if swelling could be a side effect of any of them. You may also want to research some diet or homeopathic things you could do to reduce swelling - like reduce salt intake. Hope some of the above is helpful to you!
