Did you have any nicknames when you were growing up, or do you have any now?

Sugar....Shug or Shugie (My uncle had 3 boys and always wanted a girl to call Shugie, so when daddy was in Viet Nam and we were living in California near all the relatives, my uncle started calling me by that nickname....well, it stuck. My parents didn't start calling me Janet until after I got married, but even now, daddy still sometimes calls me Shugie. When I was growing up, the only time my parents called me Janet is when I was in trouble.)

Hubby calls me "Lovie" or "Jannie"....never Janet, unless he's introducing me to someone.

My 18 yr old son calls me "Mums"

My 16 yr old daughter calls me "Momma" or "Mommy"

They know that when I become a Grandma that I want to be "Nana".

Hugs,

Janet

wow! my mom's nickname was sug (short for sugar) my grandmother ALWAYS called me sug after my mom died. don't know if it was because she missed my mom or was just getting me confused with her. to this day - my family tells me I'm the spittin' image of my mom, but I honestly don't see it. My mom was one of the most beautiful people I ever knew - inside and out. but then again....i might be a bit biased she was my mom afterall ;)

Well Melody from what little time I was around you at SRD I think you are a

beautiful person inside and out also. The best part of SRD (other than our

chaoter taking places in the contests) LOL was the 2 hours I spent sitting

and talking to you. I really really enjoyed that. I just know if we lived

closer we would be the best of friends and be spending a lot of time

together and probably getting into trouble!! LOL

So don't sell yourself short " Sug " because I think you too are a beautiful

person inside and out!!! Love pepper
