Guest guest
There can be mercury in seaweed products, but relatively low levels in most kelp type products.  For chlorella and such grown in areas with considerable mercury deposition from power plants, etc. the chlorella or etc. can have significant levels of mercury. Most chlorella is grown in fresh water and some has signif. mercury, since it attracts mercury. But there are similar products grown in seaweeds. In general seaweed products can be a very healthy supplement addition. But someone should be monitoring the mercury content.
