This is interesting because my daughter-in-law tells of times she wakes up during the night and everything is red. She said she can see everything clearly--the clock on the wall, or across the hall into the kids room. She wears strong glasses and really can't see anything without them on so I always wondered if she was really having some kind of dream. But what you described, Lynn, is kind of similar. Have you had migraines or a seizure disorder?

I am taking 1000 mg of bilberry twice a day. My eye dr said that there was no change in four years. Then the last time I was in I had been off the bilberry for a few months and there were minor changes.

Yes I did have migraines for years and then I had one that lasted for 10 months 24/7 and I started having them less often after that. I do not remember when I had my last one. yahhhhhhhhh

Seeing red or green happens to me when I need to take my

seizure medication for absence seizures (the kind that often

go undiagnosed); I would take this seriously! This is not what

n, I am not "the AVERAGE BEAR!" LOL and there were times it was yellow or blue.

I did tell my doctors about this and they were not concerned. But it is different with everyone and I do think it should be discussed with their doctors also.

I KNOW you are NOT the AVERAGE BEAR, which was the

point. And you are sooooooo right; it IS different with every

one! PS that is an odd expression, but I learned it in Western Oregon, where, presumably, bears once prevailed.

honest! My neurologist has been very concerned about this,

but then he is an expert in epilepsy as well as in MS. Hang

Hey I took no offense. I know the expression and it made me laugh as I have not heard it for a while.

I have never had a seizure in my life but I have been around some that have had them regularly. They do take a toll on the body and I hope you do not ever have another one.

I also answered a post regarding migraine and commented

on what is commonly known as "migraine equivalent," in which the person, with or without MS, has the visual experiences that those with Migraine have, but no other signs. I have this until I was about 40 years old, and then it

disappeared. This, my then brillian neurologist, thought had

little to do with epilepsy or MS, but was just something that

was inherited in our family--not that any of these delightful

conditions ever bothers to vaccinate us against the others!

Before I was dx'd with MS, I too was told the same exact thing!! Of course, at the time I didn't think it was so funny. The only reason I laugh now, Is because I've grown up and realized that Dr.'s are human too and can be just as dim-witted as anyone else who doesn't have much of a brain.
