Guest guest Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 Just got good news from South Louisiana and South Mississippi...the worse of the storm is over where we have family and everyone is fine...no storm damage. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law (he is the one who has terminal lung cancer) were able to stay in their home ...thank goodness because he is on constant oxygen now... but the water is up on the staircase to the 7th step. Since the storm is passing, that should mean that they won't have a lot of damage to repair...just water clean-up. Hopefully the water will recede soon. , I know that your particular area has had a lot of rain...16 inches???
